4/25 Terrapin Dads

4/30 Middle School Spring Treat
The TPPA will be spoiling our middle school students with a delicious and festive Spring Treat on April 30th. Please remind your middle schoolers to pick up their treat at lunch time in the Student Center. If you have any questions about this event, please contact Amy Prakash at amyprakash@hotmail.com.

5/3 9th, 10th, 11th Grade Lunch
On Friday, May 3, students celebrate spring with a festive lunch from the Spain Restaurant for the 9th, 10th, and 11th grades. This lunch will be served during the regularly scheduled lunch time. We need volunteers to send in desserts with students that morning and volunteers to help out during lunch. We will serve students, faculty, and staff in about 15 minutes! Please sign-up here. 5/3 Middle School End of Year Party
The school year is quickly winding down, if you can believe it! Mrs. Souza is taking the students to GameTime in Ybor – 4:00 – 6:00 pm. Buses will depart from Prep at 3:40 pm and will return by 6:15 pm. Admission is $18, this will be charged to the student account. If you’d like your student to purchase snacks at GameTime, please send them with money. Please RSVP by April 26 here. Please contact Ms. Souza with any questions at KSouza@tampaprep.org

5/6 International Parents and Friends Celebrates Cinco De Mayo!
International Parents, kids, and friends are welcomed to join together on May 6th, at 6:30 pm, at Miguel’s to celebrate Cinco de Mayo! Our gracious hosts will serve appetizers, and additional food and beverages will be available for purchase. Please reach out to Aned Ritcher at anedrichter@gmail.com. There is plenty of parking at the location: Miguel’s Mexican Grill 3035 W. Kennedy Blvd.
5/17 End of Year BBQ
On Friday, May 17th, the TPPA will be kicking off the last day of school with a BBQ for all students, faculty and staff!! It’s a fabulous opportunity for senior parents to celebrate their graduates and a great experience for all parents to watch the Prep community come together. We will feed 800-900 students, faculty, and staff in about 15 minutes in the Student Center! Seniors will arrive first, after running through the school halls in their future college colors. Administration will release the rest of the school by grade level. We are looking for volunteers to pick up food, help grill, set up, serve and clean up the day of the event. This event is fast and furious; we need as many parents to help as possible (please feel free to sign up for more than one shift). Terrapin Dads Happy Hour Events
All Tampa Prep dads are invited to attend Terrapin Dads Happy Hour events throughout the school year beginning in September in the evenings for a casual gathering that sometimes includes a member of the Tampa Prep administration team. In addition to attending other TPPA events, Terrapin Dads also support events including the End of Year BBQ. Check the Events Calendar for Updates!

Book Club Gatherings
All Tampa Prep parents are invited to attend Book Club meetings throughout the school year. Book Club meets every month from 9:15am – 10:30am beginning in October in the Large Conference Room (unless otherwise posted).
