Parent’s Night

Event Details

September 3, 2026 6 – 8:45pm at Tampa Prep

Parents’ Night is an opportunity to both meet your child’s advisor and teachers for the 2026-27 school year, and to learn about the curriculum in the various classes.

Parking will be available starting at 5:15pm on campus and in Julian B. Lane Park (behind school). Once our campus lot is full, you will be directed by Tampa Prep security officers to the Poe Garage (complimentary shuttle service will be available in front of the garage along Cass St. before and after the event).  Parking Map Here.  Any Tampa Prep parent that parks in the Poe Garage will be given a code to use for complimentary parking.  Given the challenge of parking at or near school, we recommend you arrive early, carpool or use ride sharing services.

The evening will begin in the Walter Athletic Complex where you will be greeted by administrators and welcomed by Head of School Kevin Plummer. After Mr. Plummer’s welcome, you will be directed to meet your child’s advisor, where you will receive your child(ren)’s schedule for the evening.

Stop by Mitchell Commons with any questions or direction needed. In addition, students wearing red Tampa Prep shirts will be available around campus to help direct you to your student’s advisor, teachers and other resources. If you have more than one student attending you may want to review your children’s schedules prior to the event to determine which classes you prefer to visit.

How to find your student’s advisor and schedule.

Please know that there will not be time to speak to your child’s teachers at length about your child in particular. We look forward to discussing your individual child’s progress during the Family/Advisor Conferences on October 21. In addition, you may always email teachers with specific questions.

The following resources will be available for you to visit throughout the evening. The Campus Store will be in Mitchell Commons. If there is a Study Hall in your child’s schedule, you are welcome to take a break, or you can visit any of these resources:
