Dear Students, The College Counseling Office is excited to invite students in Grades 9–11 to bring your lunch and join us for a special lunch-time information session with Brown University Pre-College. Date: Wednesday, February 4 Time: 12:50 PM (during lunch) Location: College Counseling Office We will be joined by Adrienne Marcus, Dean of Brown University Pre-College, who will be visiting campus to talk with freshmen, sophomores, and juniors about what pre-college programs are and how they can benefit students academically and personally. The session will include a short presentation followed by time for questions. Since 2023, seven Tampa Prep students have participated in Brown University Pre-College programs, making this a great opportunity to learn more from the source and explore whether a pre-college experience might be right for you. No prior experience or application is required—just bring your lunch, your curiosity, and your questions. We hope to see you there!

Attn: Women in Grades 9-12 Emily Six graduated from Tampa Prep last year and is now a member of Florida State University’s Women in Math, Science, and Engineering (WIMSE) Living Learning Community. She would love the opportunity to share information about this program with the young women at Tampa Prep who may be interested in pursuing STEM fields. WIMSE is a residential community at FSU designed to support women in STEM majors by helping them develop professional skills, begin networking within the STEM community, and build a supportive community of like-minded women. We have arranged a short Zoom session for Emily to speak about WIMSE and answer any questions you may have. If you have any prior questions please reach out to Emily at [email protected]. Additional information about the program can be found on their website: https://wimse.fsu.edu/.
