Tampa Prep’s Model UN delegation solved a few more of the world’s problems at BULLSMUN, a Model United Nations conference held at the University of South Florida October 19 & 20, 2024.

Tampa Prep’s delegation of 16 students represented a variety of countries: Saudia Arabia, Bolivia, Eswatini, Hungary, Timor-Leste, Australia, Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, and Micronesia. They debated several topics that challenge our world today from health inequity and reform to maritime security and interstate cooperation to disaster management and response. In addition, students also participated in novel committees such as the Tampa City Council, Jurassic Park, and the Qing Dynasty of China.
Talia J. ’26 and Reed W. ’25 won Best Delegate – the highest honor at a Model UN Conference – for their work on the World Health Organization committee. Nick F. ’25 was named Outstanding Delegate for his work on the Jurassic Park crisis committee where delegates evaluated classic questions about money and morality as well as other gripping dilemmas.
Congratulations to all!
