Michael Shimberg is a Senior Vice President with Merrill Lynch Wealth Management and a senior partner within their Private Banking & Investment Group. He leads a 16-person team that manages the firms most affluent clientele which include individuals, foundations and endowments & corporate retirement plans. He has been with Merrill Lynch since 2003, previously holding positions with Raymond James & Price Waterhouse. He holds the CFP® certification awarded by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc and the C(k)P®, which designates him as a Certified 401(k) Professional from the Retirement Advisor University at UCLA Anderson School of Business. Michael is a native of Tampa and attended Berkeley Preparatory School from Kindergarten through graduation. He is a graduate of Bucknell University, earning a B.S. in Accounting. Michael & his wife Ramona have two children: Zack (’19) and Ashley (’20). In addition to Tampa Prep, Michael & Ramona support Champions for Children, Academy Prep, Meals on Wheels and The Straz Center for Performing Arts.
