Ex-Officio, President of the Alumni Association

Katie is a proud Tampa Prep alumnus (’09) and is the current president of the Alumni Association. She went on to receive her B.A. from University of Miami majoring in history and political science. After graduating, Katie worked for a political fundraising firm in Washington DC, raising money for numerous senatorial campaigns and Super PAC’s.

She returned home to Tampa in 2018 and currently serves as a Director of Development at the University of South Florida’s Morsani College of Medicine, where she drives philanthropic efforts that directly impact patient care, groundbreaking research, and medical education —work that deeply aligns with Tampa Prep’s guiding principle of “a higher purpose than self.”

Passionate about making a tangible difference in people’s lives, Katie believes in the power of philanthropy to heal, inspire, and create lasting change. She lives in Tampa Heights with her husband Tom and their three beloved cats. Outside of work, she’s often found on a running trail or at her favorite Pilates studio.
