I was 15 years old when I decided that I would become a history teacher. I was sitting in the library of the independent, all-girls school in Columbus, Ohio that I had attended since age four and decided then and there. To follow in the footsteps of my favorite teachers and to spend all day talking about history, my favorite subject, seemed like the clear choice. Since then, I moved from Columbus to Tampa to attend the University of Tampa, where I graduated Summa Cum Laude with my B.S. in Secondary Social Science Education with a history minor. I am also completing my M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction from UT.
